1.Quality Assurance Language Lead-Traditional Chinese

Job purpose
The Language Lead will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to the project QA Lead on the progression of their language from a localisation perspective. They will perform the functions of a Localisation Tester whilst being responsible for leading their language team. The responsibilities to their team will include overseeing the team’s day-to-day activities and providing them with ongoing support and guidance.

• It's a fixed-term, full time hours (40 hours) position
• Contract duration may vary (6 months +) with an opportunity for extension

Project responsibilities

Pre-production
• Working closely with the QAL in the preproduction stage of QA, responsibilities will include audio checking and verification, establishing team access on a variety of internal systems including servers, Devtrack, Xloc etc.
• The possible testing of Pseudo builds pre-production on behalf of the QA Lead, with the purpose of identifying any language specific issues which may impact the testing process.

2.Game Tester - Traditional Chinese Localization/QA

Activision is currently recruiting for Localisation QA Testers to test Call of Duty and other Activision Games.

• All positions are fixed term, full time hours (40 hours)
• Contract duration may vary (6 months +) with an opportunity for extension
• Working shift is from 1pm to 10 pm on workdays

Your Mission
• Test each project assigned to identify localisation and functional bugs.
• Review language components (e.g. Text & Audio files) before integration.
• Identify and detail defects in a clear and concise manner using the designated bug tracking database
• Complete regression/verification testing daily.
• Provide ad-hoc translations.
• Other duties assigned as the need arises
