Announcement: Online Procedures for Student Leave Applications
Online Procedures for Student Leave Applications

We hereby notify all students of the school that student leave applications can now be processed online.
  1. Implementation of Online Leave Applications
To simplify the application process, the student leave application procedure has been digitized, replacing the original paper-based application with an online process starting from the 2024 academic year.

  2. Online Leave Application Procedure
    (1) Student Leave Application:
Students should submit leave applications via the Student Information Platform (Website: https://sis.fju.edu.tw/#/). After the leave application is submitted, an email notification will be sent to the approvers.
(Access the Student Information Platform from: School Homepage > Current Students > Internal Systems Menu > Academic Affairs & Grades > Student Information Platform)

    (2) Leave Approval Process:
Faculty members, department supervisors, and administrative staff should access the Workflow Management System (Website: https://fjuworkflow.fju.edu.tw/#/login) to approve student leave requests. Once the leave is approved, an email will be sent to the student to check the results on the Student Information Platform.
(Access the Workflow Management System from: School Homepage > Faculty & Staff > Administration > Workflow Management System)

    (3) Viewing Leave Information:
Course instructors, department supervisors, advisors, and department secretaries can check student leave information via the Student Leave Management System (Website: https://stuleavemgt.fju.edu.tw/#/login).
(Access the Student Leave Management System from: School Homepage > Faculty & Staff > Office Work > Student Leave Management System)

  3. Application for Official Leave:
The dispatching unit will first log the official leave information of dispatched students into the Student Leave Management System (Website: https://stuleavemgt.fju.edu.tw/#/login). Students will then be notified via email to submit their official leave application through the Student Information Platform (Website: https://sis.fju.edu.tw/#/). Once approved, an email notification will be sent to both the student and the course instructors to check the results in the respective systems.

  4. Introduction of Mental Adjustment Leave:
Beginning with the 2024 academic year, a new category of leave, "Mental Adjustment Leave," will be introduced. No documentation is required, and students can apply for up to three days per semester. Applications will be approved by course instructors. When applying, the system will display a message informing students that their advisor will provide care first and refer them to relevant counseling services if necessary. Email notifications will also be sent to the advisor and department chair to immediately activate the care mechanism.
