In recent years, rapid advancements in artificial intelligence have brought unprecedented challenges to the translation and interpreting industry. The 29th International Symposium on Translation and Interpretation Teaching invites scholars and professionals to explore how these challenges might impact industry practices and training processes. We welcome submissions that address topics relating to translation and interpretation – topics such as the practical experiences in translation and interpretation teaching, audiovisual and video game translations, new ways of understanding translation/interpretation, and the role and value of translators/interpreters. Join us in rethinking the future of translation and interpretation in an AI-driven world.
